Myth or a monster?
Legends are drawn to lakes. Take a sizable body of challenging water, and the locals will fill it with all kinds of objects and even characters. Take Loch Ness as an illustration. One of the UK's deepest and murkiest lakes, Loch Ness is located in Scotland's highlands. Many people think that it is where the lovably referred to as Nessie by locals Loch Ness Monster calls home. Is Nessie there really? Though many people have reported seeing it, scientists have dismissed the reports as hoaxes. The largest body of water in the British Isles is Loch Ness. There is simply no way for us to know for sure!
