It Clunks
Canada noticed Soviet operations and alerted one corporation there: A. Canada's V. Roe Limited These engineers, who are now known as Avro Canada, were tasked with building aircraft that could counter the Russian menace. They also delivered. The Avro CF-100 Canuck was created in 1953. It was given the name Clunk, and the Canadian military continued to use it until the 1980s.
