She embodied everything the word implied. Avro Canada's CF-105 Arrow was an interceptor with supersonic speed. It resembled a spearhead thanks to its delta wings, and it flew in a deadly, cohesive manner. Strength and speed were the two key specifications that were improved. This infant might soar more than 50,000 feet (ca. 15 km). She was capable of Mach 2 flight. Mach 2 sounds fairly amazing, and it's easy to understand why when you consider that it's equivalent to 1500 mph (or roughly 2,414 km/h).
