Shonda Rhimes – 150 Pounds
In 2017, Shonda Rhimes, the creator of many of our favourite TV shows, told “Health” magazine about how she lost 150 pounds quickly. She said that she didn't do it to become beautiful like in the movies. Instead, she did it because she couldn't walk up her short flight of stairs without stopping. She felt like her body was fighting against her brain, and she had been ignoring it for too long.
Missy Elliott – 70 Pounds
In the past few years, hip-hop legend Missy Elliot has been on a health journey. She started her plan in 2018, when she stopped drinking juice and soda and only drank water. She found it hard to cut up the bread, but it was clear that her hard work paid off. She feels like she's less tired and that her glow is back. Her health mission may have been sparked by the fact that in 2011 she was told she had Graves' Disease, an autoimmune disease that affects her thyroid.
