Celebrities and Their ‘Mini-versions’

Frank Sinatra – Ronan Farrow

Frank Sinatra is a name that everyone must be familiar with—especially at this time of year, when all we can hear in department shops is Sinatra's Christmas CD. Anyway, our final celebrity father-son pairing is a little more complicated. Why? Everyone was surprised to learn that Ronan Farrow's biological father was not Woody Allen, as many assumed. It was, in fact, Frank Sinatra! According to legend, Mia and the legendary Sinatra married in 1966 but divorced soon after. They remained friends until Sinatra's death in 1988, but it took some time for the world to learn the truth about Ronan's biological father. He needs to publish a book on that experience.

Philip Michael Thomas – Imaj Thomas

Doesn't the theme tune start playing in your head as soon as you say “Miami Vice”? Phillip Michael Thomas, one of the show's stars, made his imprint not only on the show, but also in a number of previous appearances, including Coonskin in 1975 and Sparkle in 1976. He is the father of eleven children. Sheesh! That is a lot of child support. Thomas was a talented pianist as well as an actor, which he appears to have handed down to his daughter, Imaj Thomas. We appreciate her songs Passport and Colorblind, which she released as a country singer-songwriter. That's not awful at all, youngster!
