Using fireworks carelessly
M-Class fireworks are prohibited for a reason. They are loud and powerful, and the explosions may often be heard and felt from kilometers away, as well as causing serious injuries. Our advise, aside from avoiding them entirely, is to always wear protective eyewear when lighting pyrotechnics and to soak unused fireworks in water before discarding them; trust us, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Forgetting to wear sunscreen
As much as an all-over golden tan can make you feel like a Summer god or goddess, there is no doubt (and plenty of scientific evidence) that too much sun is not necessarily good for your skin. With the hole in the Ozone layer larger than ever, UV rays are stronger than ever, and it is these rays that trigger changes in our DNA that can lead to melanoma, a lethal form of skin cancer that kills one person every hour, according to statistics. The moral of the story is to always wear sunscreen – SPF 30 is suggested and should be applied every two hours!
