Water wings, noodles, inner tubes, and lilo's are all great ways for youngsters (and adults) to float on the water's surface. Ideal for keeping our heads above water. However, it is critical that your pool area and/or the pool itself have layers of safety surrounding it, including a tall fence with a self-latching gate. Kids are extremely resourceful when it comes to sneaking into off-limits locations, so keep the pool area safe at all times. If a youngster goes missing, the pool should be the first place you look.
