Storing propane in a warm location
Extra propane tanks are particularly volatile, especially when exposed to heat, such as direct sunshine or the heat from a grill. It's also risky to leave the tanks in the trunk of your automobile. With enough heat, the tanks can literally rupture, resulting in a potentially lethal explosion. The moral of the story is to keep propane tanks in cool places.
Always grill outdoors
While the dangers of grilling indoors may appear evident, it is not simply the chance of an interior fire that comes with this dangerous activity. Grilling outside is critical since charcoal is known to emit carbon monoxide when burned, which is why grilling inside is dangerous. Bottom line: grilling must be done outside. For the sake of safety.
