Incorrect playground installation
If you choose to have the playground equipment in your own garden, ensure sure it is correctly set up and away from any additional injury-causing impediments. Rocks, tree stumps, and overhanging branches are examples. Another critical factor is that the equipment is spaced enough apart and that the surface beneath it is at least 12 inches deep. Check the equipment for bolts, hooks, and rungs that might easily injure your youngster.
Allowing children to climb on the playground
This is another obvious point, but we'll mention it anyhow. Children under the age of four should not be permitted to play on climbing equipment or horizontal ladders. Younger children have a poor sense of balance, and adding height and rungs to the equation is a prescription for disaster.
