Keith Richards was one of the inspirations for Johnny Depp when he was developing his character as Captain Jack Sparrow. When the announcement came of Keith being a part of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, everyone was thrilled to see what he would look like. Keith Richards, a true style icon, wore his own jewelry when he transformed into Captain Teague. The silver ring he wears, as seen in the image above, is his own – he received it in 1978 as a birthday gift and has worn it ever since.
