Iconic Images From Woodstock

Everyone boarded the “Mary Jane” bus

The hippie subculture is well-known for its music as well as its drug use. Substances and the idea were inextricably linked. Hippies would have a ball. It is thought that more over half of the festival participants used ganja, however no one was jailed. Surprisingly, there were no reports of unpleasant behavior. Substance users were stereotyped as violent people; this episode was either an anomaly or disproved the assumption.

Memories

Only a few of the 33 performers were shot for the Woodstock documentary, which is how most people are aware with the event today. Some, such as Joan Baez, will be eternally linked to the Woodstock music event. Others, like Sly and the Family Stone, were deleted from the final cut and are quickly forgotten or presumed to be absent. Whether or whether the event was documented, the memory of it lives on.
