Another female restaurant owner, this time in Canada, found herself with an unexpected increase in her electric bill thanks to her smart meter!

Her last bill on her old analogue meter was 532 Canadian dollars, but the two bills after that were 1,084 and 1,192! Maureen was irritated because she couldn't obtain a straight response from her local electricity company, B.C. Hydro, as to why this happened.
