Offer again
After the initial shock of Knott's offer to carry the baby for them in her own uterus wore off, the Johnstons started to think about their choices. The truth was that Knott didn't just come up with this idea out of nowhere. Knott first brought up this idea with her sister in 2011, when she saw how hard it was to get pregnant. But at the time, it seemed like a crazy plan and a road they didn't need to take. But things were very different this time around.
Yes, it is.
Even though Knott had suggested this incredibly selfless idea back in 2011, it wasn't until two years later that the Johnstons agreed to this crazy plan and decided to go through with the surrogacy plan. They went to the doctor and put two embryos into Knott in the hopes that one of them would grow into a baby. As an extra precaution, the doctor also put two more embryos in Johnston, even though the chances were much better for Knott. But what happened next shocked everyone.
