*At a vehicle dealership* Walmart employee: “Hey, I'm looking for a car and an SUV.” “I've got just the thing,” says the car dealer. Walmart employee: “It's p-p-perfect,” she says, choking back tears. Move over, Prius, for this is a true hybrid. It's not just unsightly; it's also incredibly impractical. It's as if two automobiles were stacked in a junkyard car-smasher and stopped halfway through.
Punishment that is Cruel and Unusual
This father appears to have taken public humiliation to an entirely new level. “If I'm embarrassing myself, then I'm embarrassing you,” Marshall Mathers (better known by his stage name, Eminem) famously quipped. We'll never know for sure, but I'm inclined to assume this parenting style is quite effective. This daughter will think twice about disrespecting her father again because she made him upset enough to damage a perfectly excellent dress shirt and a pair of jeans. Then again, this is Walmart, so perhaps he doesn't stand out as much as he expected.
