Disappointed
Gayle, the birthday girl, was the most disheartened member of the Evans clan. She had planned on having a wonderful time with her growing kids, but now all she wanted to do was return home as quickly as possible. Gayle explained, “We wanted a really unique time away together.” “I realised it was probably the last chance to get away as a family because my kids are getting older.”
Illness and malaise
The vacation took a turn for the worse when they least expected it. Many of the family members, after only a few days at the resort, began to complain of severe stomachaches; they blamed the resort's general filthiness and the hotel's food. “On top of that, everyone except me had bad tummies during the holiday,” Gayle remarked. And my younger daughter became quite ill throughout the trip back.
