In addition to education, Tommy works as a real estate agent and helps out around the house. “My cousin performs 90% of the work – and if it's one or two years of my life I have to put on wait to ensure two lives are spared, it's nothing,” he says. Tommy continued to look ahead while working well in the real estate market. He still wanted to manage his own business, and unsurprisingly, the motivated young guy who never took ‘no' for an answer worked hard to achieve that goal while raising a family.
Never say the word “can't”
After his old supervisor told him he couldn't accomplish it, Tommy eventually founded his own real estate firm, UN Real Estate. He told Tommy that he was far too young, lacked experience, and couldn't do the job. Those were combative words in Tommy's ears. Such remarks struck him as a challenge, and the ambitious young man set out to prove his old boss incorrect. Tommy also had some words of wisdom for his former boss: “Never tell someone they CAN'T accomplish anything.”
