When questioned why he titled his company UN Real Estate, Tommy explained that it wasn't because the company was “unreal,” but because the people who worked there were un-agents. “We are not your typical real estate agents.” “We're real people,” Tommy declared. According to him, the brand represents real people rather than “sleazy manipulative pushy unpleasant cheesy marketers,” as he put it. “We don't wear ties, and we don't tell lies,” says the company's motto. But that wasn't the only thing that altered in Tommy's life.
Give It Away
Tommy is still amazed that his story of assisting Kiarna went viral. “What caused the post to go viral?” It was a case of family aiding family. That should be standard procedure. We've had so many spontaneous acts of generosity from people we don't even know since then.” That's why he's urging others to pay it forward, to do something random kind for someone else, in the hopes that the phenomena will spread. Tommy believes that while social media cannot change the world, tiny acts of compassion can.
